The LIFE CoHaBit project invites anyone interested to take an informative tour in nature. During the tour the residents will be informed about the restoration works of gray and woodland dune habitats and related issues. There will be a chance to see the gray and woodland dune habitats in person and ask questions to experts. The tour will address such questions as, “Why the woodlands of the Nature Park should be maintained? Can I cut trees in a Nature Park? Is it necessary to intervene in natural processes?” The tour will be attended by representatives from the Development and Planning Department of the Carnikava Local Government, the LIFE CoHaBit project, Association “Baltic Shores”, the Nature Conservation Agency, the Latvian State Forests, and the Latvian Fund for Nature.
